  1. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
  2. Pass in the Higher secondary Examination (Academic or Vocational) for I year diploma passed
    students can get admission in the second year directly on fulfilling the eligibility norms prescribed by
    the Government of Tamil Nadu.
  3. Those seeking admission under NRI quota are required to have obtained just a pass in the Higher
    Secondary Examination fulfilling the necessary formalities prescribed by the Anna University.
  4. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
  5. A pass in any one of the following HSC(Vocational Stream) with Engineering/ Technology
    Vocational subjects and any ONE or Two of the related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or
    Chemistry with a minimum average percentage 50 in the relevant subjects.
  6. Foreign students should complete the following formalities before admission:
  7. Foreign students should obtain NOC for study in India from the Ministry of Human Resources
    Development, Govt. Of India, New Delhi.
  8. A valid students visa from Indian High Commission of the county to which the candidate belongs.
    A certificate form the Anna University recognizing the Secondary education programme undergone.

    A minimum averge of 45.00% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

  14. A minimum average of 40.00% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
    iv. For SC / ST a mere pass in the qualifying Examination with Mathematics, Physics
    and Chemistry

  16. i. For Communities other than BC/ / BC(Christians) / BC(Muslims) / MBC&DNC / SC / ST Other Communities.
  17. A minimum average of 50.00% and above in the related subjects, Vocational theory Subject and practicals
  18. ii. For BC,BC(Christians) / BC(Muslims) Communities
  19. A minimum average of 45.00% and above in the related subjects, Vocational theory
    Subject and practicals
  20. iii. For MBC&DNC Communities
  21. iv. A minimum average of 40.00% and above in the related subjects, Vocational theory
  22. Subject and practicals
    v. For SC/ST a mere pass in the qualifying Examination with the Vocational subjects prescribed and Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry
  23. Note: When the candidates produce grade certificates, they have to produce actual marks also otherwise only the minimum marks applicable to the grades in the
  24. eligible subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) will be taken into account.
  25. AGE LIMIT: A candidate must not have exceeded 20 years for I year admission.

ADMISSION:

I YEAR:
a) A pass in HSC examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as the Subject of study
or any other equivalent examination.
b) Requisite minimum marks in these subjects for various communities as prescribed by the
government of Tamil Nadu.
MANAGEMENT QUOTA:
Admission against management quota, lapsed seats and NRI quota are made by the management
through proper notification.
